Covid Update 1 April 2021
Although, thankfully, the number of people receiving their vaccination is increasing, and Government restrictions are slowly being lifted, there is still need for vigilance.
Having said that, at the moment two of our churches, Ashley and Mucklestone, are open for public worship and private prayer as detailed below. We are already complying with all the regulations and taking measures to keep our buildings safe, ie social distancing, hand sanitizing, wearing of facemasks and signing in for track & trace.
We are delighted to announce that there will also be a Service of Holy Communion on Easter Day at Broughton and hope to announce that further services will be held there and at Croxton, before too long.
All people coming into church for services and for private prayer are asked to use the hand sanitizing facilities provided when entering and leaving the buildings and to come prepared with face masks or face coverings AS THESE ARE COMPULSORY IN PLACES OF WORSHIP. Unfortunately, for the time being not all areas within the churches will be accessible, and we are not able to open our kitchen facilities to offer our usual hospitality. It is for all our safety that we ask visitors to adhere to any restrictions as directed. We need to take responsibility for our own personal safety and be mindful of others, so please take care to maintain social distancing in Church at all times, and please do not visit if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus. There are also sign-in sheets, for us to be able to monitor visitors for Track and Trace.
Every blessing and please stay safe.
Please note that at Broughton and Mucklestone churches tomorrow 11th April a special service marking the death of his late Royal Highness Prince Philip will replace the advertised services
